If you’re keen for some high intensity obstacle course action, the tree top course in Nowra Park has you sorted for your next family fun day out. The playground is suspended in between forest trees and it’s full of enough challenges to keep everyone and anyone charged up for hours.

This obstacle course is all about putting your physical prowess and mental agility to the test, as you conquer tight ropes, crawl through tunnels, balance along swinging monkey bridges, jump on an aerial skateboard and zoom through the trees on flying foxes. There are over 70 challenges across the obstacle courses and 13 flying foxes in the park, with the longest flying fox coming in at 100m. So prepare for an action-packed session. 

You’ll have two hours to take on the tree top challenges, and some time before to get geared up, trained, harnessed in and ready for the excitement ahead. There are different courses to suit different age groups, which means that you can bring the whole family to enjoy a day out in the fresh air. The Nowra Park tree top adventure park is Australia’s first cliff edge adventure park, and it’s actually located inside Shoalhaven Zoo along the banks of the Shoalhaven River. So you could make a whole day of it and visit the zoo as well, or just keep an eye out for animals (like camels!) from the trees.
