Kick off your day with an exciting River Drift adventure in the Mossman River, nestled in a hidden location surrounded by the rainforest. The morning begins with an interpretive walk through the river, where you’ll navigate upstream on a mix of shallow and dry riverbeds, fully immersed in the rainforest. This part of your journey on foot lets you intimately connect with the river, surrounded by dense greenery.

Next, equipped with a sturdy river sled, you’ll float through calm waters under the dense canopy before the thrill of faster currents, adding an element of excitement to your adventure.

Following lunch, your experience continues at the Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre, where the Kuku Yalanji people share their cultural insights, including a welcoming traditional smoking ceremony.
